McDonald Excavating was hired by Cascade Bridge to complete all the earthwork, grading, and
utility installations on the Vancouver Rail W. 39th Street Bridge Project. This Bridge Crosses over a busy BNSF Rail Yard that has previously been blocked for the past several years, this passage is a necessity to travelers between Downtown Vancouver and Fruit Valley Road. To date this has been our largest single contract at ~$3.5mm and included excavation, embankment construction, water, sewer, and storm utilities, retailing walls, and many other challenging tasks required when working in and around a live rail yard.
